Take driving lessons

As you can imagine, this varies greatly per student. In the Netherlands, a student needs an average of 45 driving lessons. Thanks to our unique teaching method and the online instructional videos you can watch at home, a student at WOLF typically needs fewer lessons than at other driving schools.

We don’t have a waiting list. If you contact our customer service, we will gladly schedule a trial lesson for you as soon as possible (depending on how busy it is)!

To start an emergency course, you begin with a trial lesson. After this, you’ll receive tailored advice about how many lessons you may need and which package suits you best.

You must have passed your theory test, completed a valid health declaration, and authorized us through the CBR. Once you’ve signed our digital lesson agreement, we can start scheduling a practical exam. This depends on the current waiting times at the CBR, which can be up to 20 weeks at the moment.

Once your exam is scheduled, we’ll create a lesson plan together. You must be flexible with your availability. You will drive 2-3 lessons per day, 4-5 days per week.

Currently, starting an emergency course on short notice is not possible. It might be better to begin a regular course right after your trial lesson.

We currently offer driving lessons in automatic transmission cars in the Eindhoven and Rotterdam regions. We hope to expand this soon. Interested in a trial lesson? Click here and leave your details. We will contact you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.

No, we do not offer this.

A trial lesson at WOLF costs 29,95 and is completely non-binding.
You will get to know the instructor, the car, and our unique teaching method.
You can also start using our WOLF app.

It is a 100-minute lesson, equivalent to two regular lessons.
After the trial lesson, you will receive tailored advice on the number of lessons you may need.

We have chosen to make our lessons 50 minutes long, as most students prefer to take double lessons. This results in a total of 100 minutes, which is the ideal duration for a student. Longer sessions can lead to loss of concentration, which we want to avoid!

Additionally, you can prepare for each lesson in advance by reviewing the topic in your WOLF instruction guide and watching the instructional videos in the WOLF app. This saves a lot of lesson time!

You can easily authorize us via www.mijn.cbr.nl:

  • Log in with your Digi-D
  • Click on: Authorize driving school
  • Enter your personal information and our driving school number: 1532G8

The WOLF app is the perfect app for anyone who wants to get their driver’s license quickly. The app outlines step-by-step what you need to do to obtain your license:

  • Watch instructional videos for each phase to prepare for your lessons. These videos help you make the most of your lesson time and save up to 10% in lesson duration. You’ll also find tips for preparing for the theory exam. Be confident and well-prepared for your practical exam by watching videos with exam routes and preparation tips.

  • Schedule and reschedule lessons directly in the app, even when the driving school is closed. Your instructor tracks your progress in the app by phase. You can always see how you're scoring on exam components like parallel parking and independent driving.

  • Always have insight into your progress;
  • Personal tips and guidance;
  • Purchase (follow-up) packages with discounts.

This is definitely possible. You can log in with the same credentials in the WOLF app. There, you can view what was covered during each lesson and track progress.
You can also see when upcoming lessons are scheduled.

In most cases, this is not enough. The average in the Netherlands is around 45 driving lessons. The compact course can be supplemented with our follow-up packages to reach the recommended number of lessons.

In most cases, this is not enough. The average in the Netherlands is around 45 driving lessons. The compact course can be supplemented with our follow-up packages to reach the recommended number of lessons.

An entry-level package is mainly intended for students who already have experience. They can transfer to us from another driving school.

Since the average number of lessons in the Netherlands is 45, this package is usually not sufficient for beginner students.

It is possible to pay for our packages in installments. We believe this is a convenient option for our students.

Start & Go – can be paid in 2 installments: lesson 1 and lesson 8.
Compact Course – can be paid in 3 installments: lesson 1, lesson 8, and lesson 16.
If you choose to pay in full at once, we can offer a discount rate in the WOLF app.

Monthly payments are unfortunately not possible with us, unless you choose individual lessons – then you pay per lesson. However, you can pay for our packages in installments. We believe this is a convenient option for our students.

Compact Course – can be paid in 3 installments: lesson 1, 8, and 16.

Theory exam

The theory package from WOLF consists of a textbook with the latest regulations, plus an online course and 15 hours of exam training. This allows you to practice mock questions at your own pace and enter the theory exam well-prepared.

You are eligible for the exam guarantee if you have completed 15 hours of training, taken 20 practice exams, and passed 5 of them consecutively in one session.

Your theory certificate is valid for 18 months, which is 1,5 years.

Practical exam

After your instructor indicates that you are almost ready for your intermediate test or practical exam, we will request it for you at the CBR. For this, you need to make sure a few things are arranged:

  • authorization for intermediate test / practical exam at the CBR
  • approved health declaration at the CBR
  • digitally signed lesson agreement with WOLF
  • passed your theory exam

Without these points, it's not possible to schedule anything with the CBR.

Unfortunately, waiting times at the CBR are currently up to 20 weeks nationwide. This is incredibly frustrating, but sadly we have no control over it. Our instructors take this into account when planning. We do our best to schedule everyone properly and align the lessons as closely as possible. If earlier slots become available at the CBR, we will try to move your exam forward.

A CBR examiner will assess your driving skills during the intermediate test and/or exam. Part of this is your self-reflection. In other words: how do you feel about your own performance in traffic?

To evaluate this, the CBR has developed a self-reflection form that you need to bring completed to your intermediate test or practical exam. Your instructor will explain how it works, but it’s important that you fill it in honestly. The examiner will only look at the form after the exam and the result.

To book a test or practical exam with the CBR, you must first have a valid health declaration. This consists of several questions about your health and is completed via mijn.cbr.nl. The CBR needs this declaration to assess your fitness to drive. Everyone is required to complete it.

Note: the CBR charges a fee for this.

If you fail your practical exam 4 times within 5 years, you’ll take a BNOR exam next time — this is a state exam administered by the Bureau for Advanced Driving Skill Assessment.

The requirements to pass are the same as a regular CBR exam, so it’s not easier. However, more attention is given to your individual situation. For example, the exam lasts longer (70 minutes) and includes extra personal guidance.

The BNOR exam is slightly more expensive than the regular practical exam.

The fees charged by the CBR only cover the examiner and related administration. However, when a driving school books a practical exam, other costs are involved — like the use of the car, the instructor, insurance, and administrative and service costs.

WOLF rijbewijsshop offers an exam guarantee for the Compact course. If you do not pass your first practical exam, there will be no extra cost for your second exam.
